February 1, 2013-Task Force meeting to discuss and finalize Recommendations.
January 10-Task Force meeting to discuss draft recommendations.
December 7-Task Force meeting to review developed draft recommendations.
November 16-DRAFT Recommendations submitted to Task Force to review.
November 15-Open House-Data Center-Rockbridge Area Network Authority (attended by Regional Commission staff)
November 8-9 Municipal Fiber Networks Converence-Danville, VA (a few participants from our region attended)
October 23-Task Force meeting to review RFI Interviews. (agenda).
October 10- Task Force interviews of RFI respondents (one hour interviews with Wide Open Networks, Mid-Atlantic Broadband, Cox Communications and Citizens Telephone) (click here for a list of sample questions.)
August 27-Roanoke Valley Fiber/Broadband Task Force Meeting-reviewed written RFI responses and developed interview formats.(agenda)
