Regional Commission staff have the capability to perform customized demographic and spatial analysis useful in economic development using public data sources and Geographic Information Systems.

Staff remains current in training to run customized economic impact analyses using the IMPLAN (Impact Analysis for Planning) model. Staff has the capability using the IMPLAN model to estimate the economic impacts of new industries, tourist activity, and special events.
